4th Sabaoth International Film Festival Winners | Adam Awards 2011
ADAM AWARD 2011 – BEST CHILDREN - YOUTH FILM The secrets of Jonathan Sperry (USA – 96') Directed by Rich Christiano
EUROPEAN PREMIERE
Motivation This film successfully indicates an alternative path that can be taken in order to learn how to defend oneself from the mediatic violence we are subject to (more than often in a passive way) that numbs our consciences.
The director Rich Christiano has faced a great challenge in his production and obtained an even greater victory: that of sowing a message of love into the future generations so that a great harvest might be reaped.
The Sabaoth International Film Festival is a biennial event that presents high quality productions from all over the world. It was created with the objective of discovering and promoting films that underline the themes of love, respect and dignity of human life. We are convinced that these Christian values are in fact universally valid and that they can be shared by all.
The Festival aims at becoming a place in which those who “have no voice”, can express their tragedy, thus creating a greater awareness in the general public. Every human being deserves respect and the right to live in dignity yet violence. Our aim is to help those who are suffering the consequences of violence (both men and women) to embark on a path of healing that will lead them out of those psychological and spiritual prisons (within them and outside of them) in which many victims of abuse are trapped.
